Ali Nyoni

A very passionate karateka, Ali is a 5th Dan Black Belt, World & European Goju-Ryu Karate Champion as well as British, Scottish, English and Zimbabwean champion. Ali has represented both England and Zimbabwe at various international championships including 4 WKF World championships for Zimbabwe.

With over 20 years’ experience of coaching at all ages and levels, Ali has won numerous awards as coach including 3 times British Universities winning coach. Ali is the current South-West England Regional Karate Coach (EKF) as well as the Head coach at Bath University and University of West England.

Ali uses a fun ‘games’ approach to learning martial arts in his teaching which has proved very popular with all ages particularly kids from 4 -12 years old. At JCK, there is always a game for every karate technique.

Ali is a qualified personal trainer and runs 1 to 1 sessions for self-defence, sport karate or personal fitness sessions.
